Thanks to donations from businesses like yours, we have been able to purchase and install laptop computers in our fire engines.  These computers provide vital dispatch and mapping information for our responding crews, which will allow us to provide faster and safer services to you in the unfortunate event of an emergency.  The feature that will help us most is the ability to display building information for your facility, in the fire service this is referred to as Pre-plan information.  This is where we need your help. 


 

On the main webpage is a simple pre-plan form that we ask you fill out, scan, and email back to us in a PDF format at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  If your business occupies several buildings with different street addresses, we ask that you fill out a separate form for each address.  In addition to the pre-plan form, we also ask that you email us an Adobe PDF version of your floor plans, site maps, hazmat inventory, and any other information you feel would be helpful to us in an emergency situation at your facility.  If you do not have access to email or a scanner, the forms and attachments can be dropped off or mailed to the Farmington Fire Department 76 Main St. Farmington, CT 06032.


 

By furnishing us this information it will help us accomplish our goal of providing the best service to your business that we can.  None of the information we are gathering will be used for reporting purposes and will solely be stored on our laptop computers for our fire officers to access while en route to an emergency at your facility.
